Asbestos Lawsuit & Settlement Funding
I have come ill due to the exposure of a substance called asbestos. I have worked in my industry for over 25 years and recently we have been told one of our old plants had asbestos material. I was inhaling this substance for years and never knew what it was and even it existed in the plant. Myself along with others have become ill recently and I even had a friend of mine pass away due to some sort of disease this creates. I immediately hired an attorney that is taking my case. This is not going to be easy as I’ve been pre warned by my attorney. I am told these types of cases can take years before ever getting the first cent. This is amazing to me considering that it has been proven of asbestos in this plant. I am writing this question in regards to receiving settlement funding before my case actually gets settled. I understand there is a cost for getting money before settling and would like to know how much and at what percentage. I would also like to know if your company would be able to take large cases like asbestos and if you’ve been able to get funding for multi-million dollar lawsuits? My other colleague told me that he tried to get money from another company that provides settlement funding but because he didn’t have any real injury or signs of injury he didn’t get the money. I on the other hand have been directly affected by this whole thing.
